The 60th Annual Session of the New Providence District Convention of the
Bahamas Baptist Union will be held here at Salem, Wednesday, November 27 –
Sunday, December 1, 2019, under the theme, “Hitherto Hath the Lord Helped
Us”, deduced from 1 Samuel 7:3-12. The Theme Song is, “Come Thou Fount of
Every Blessing”. Salemites are encouraged to register now with your $30 to
Deacon Rodger Demeritte or Sis. Prescola Rolle.
On the Saturday night of the Convention, the Youth Department will hold a grand
Reunion Concert and they are recalling all former youth choir members between
1990-2010 as well as current choir members to rehearsals each Saturday at 6:00
p.m. here at Salem.
